About Me
- As a young teen growing up in the Midwest I didn’t have many encounters with real “fashion.” I didn’t see celebrities or city girls walking down the street with the latest styles.
I didn’t even really understand what it meant to have "style". Fortunately there were fashion magazines that I was able to religiously read while growing up in Wisconsin. It was from them that I created my own desire for knowledge of the latest trends.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many countries around the world, while taking note of local styles from places such as London, Paris, Rome, New York, LA, and Hong Kong. Now, through the power of the internet I want to help bring fashion news and fabulous garments to women everywhere while helping each of you perfect your personal style.

The Combine Couture Story:
72Lux was built to address a growing problem for online shoppers. 72Lux will not only allow customers to search multiple sites from one, but it has a single check out so users receive a consistent shopping experience. Also 72Lux layers in advanced search options which allow users to search by category, designer, color, size, body type, or any combination of those choices.
One day while trying to quickly buy a red dress for an upcoming event, Heather realized how hard it is to find what you're looking for online. There are so many different designers and even retailers with several exclusive collections that the task of trying to find a dress seemed overwhelming. She mentioned the reason she shops online is because of the convenience, but with websites the way they were, they were not much more convenient than spending hours browsing department stores by foot, other than she could do it from home or a hotel room. Not only did she have to go from site to site looking for a red dress, but she also had to look through all dresses (64 pages of dresses in some cases) on each site in order to even see if they sold red dresses. That was a problem. Frustrated by her experience and with the technical knowledge that a better, more luxurious experience was possible, Heather resigned from her previous job. By leveraging both her retail background and her internet experience, she went on to found 72Lux.
